Radio Times Top 20 Kids TV shows Of All Time (UK)

Not sure this is a good list, most shows are from the 1980's, but then I guess the selections are what you would expect considering the ages of the people who were polled

Noel Edmonds, Floella Benjamin, Frank Skinner, Russell T Davies, David Walliams, Edwards Barnes, Lenny Henry, Peter Purves, Phillip Schofield, Chuckle Brothers, Biddy Baxter, Dick & Dom, Chris Packham, Sally James, Clive Doig, Steve Backshall, Pat Sharp, Timmy Mallett, Michaela Strachan, Richard Marson, Ayo Akinwolere, Malorie Blackman, Neil Buchanan, Ade Adepitan, Jake Humphrey, Iain Stirling, Justin Johnson, Andi Peters, Janet Ellis, Barney Harwood, Konnie Huq, Joe Goodwin and Ewan Vinnicombe

It's UK only, so it wouldn't allow things like scooby doo, but even without that, there is a distinct lack of cartoons, where is Danger Mouse? Rhubarb & Custard? ect

The list above looks like what a parent would like their kids to watch (Blue Peter at number 1) Also includes things like Play school & jackanory, both of which you only watched as a kid if there was absolutely nothing else on.

We should do our own poll, top 10s and then collate the scores, though I am not sure if enough people would participate to compile a credible list.

If we do one, we should open it up to all kids shows, not just UK, so we can have things like He-man and Top cat. :hello:
