Yep don't mind Status Quo really surprising how far they go back.Classic guitar riff at the begin :yes:
Think i heard the Quo saying they only ever used three chords :idunno:

Stand By Me was recently featured in a BBC4 documentary about the biggest earnings songs,
it came no.6 estimated £17.5 million, attributable in no small sum to the film of the same name
(No.1 was Happy Birthday written by the Hill Sisters estimated at £30 million earnings)

The majority of my music at home is pre 1963 so this old Teddy Boy is waiting for someone to start the 50s. (56 was a hell of a year!) :cheers:
