Nice1 ddandd love an Otis fix, although much as I admire Burdon, his cover doesn't come close to Sam & Dave - look at the showmanship in this;

Although plenty of others have had a go at this particular track:
Bruce Springsteen in 1967 did an Animals-esque R&B version (love the Hammond sound);

Machito & His Orchestra, 1968 - the Latin version;

Tom Jones in 1969 made it his own;

Bryan Ferry went downtempo in 1978 (I'm sure I hear the riff from 'Come Together' by the Beatles in there too?);

George Benson brought Jazz & Funk to it in 1979;

Boney M also in 1979 made the Disco version;

Dexy's Midnight Runners recorded a demo of it in 1980;


Also notibly covered by; Tina Turner, Martha & The Vandellas, Eric Clapton & BB King, The Temptations, Aretha Franklin, Jerry Lee Lewis.
